He then sent a 36-yard field goal in the second quarter, extending Cleveland’s lead to 6-0.

Then, after another Seebert field goal, he followed the Bucks 9-0 at halftime, one at 30 yards.

Tampa Bay put points on the board midway in the third quarter when place kicker Cairo Santos scored a 23-yard field goal. The score was 9-3, with Cleveland still leading.

Then, with only 19 seconds to play in the third, boxer Jordan Leggett scored a touchdown on a 20-yard pass from quarterback Ryan Griffin. Tampa Bay entered the last quarter with a 10-9 lead.

The Browns took the lead in the fourth quarter when Seibert scored another field goal, 35 yards. The score was 12-10.

However, Tampa Bay kicker Matt Gagey sent a 21-yard field goal with 18 seconds remaining. The Buccaneers won the Browns 13-12.

Regardless of the loss, the Browns defense was excellent in the first half. They came up with three catches in the first quarter. Defensive end Olivier Vernon had two catches at night and the defense was 5 in the first half.

Field Marshal Baker Mayfield had the desire to play the entire half. He was without receivers on top of him and finished the night 10-26, 72 yards and 1 interception.

This was the Browns’ first loss of the 2019 preview. Before that, he was victorious against the Washington Redskins (30-10) and the Indianapolis Colts (21-18).

Friday’s game was a costume exercise for Cleveland headlines, as they are not expected to play next Thursday against the Detroit Lines. On Friday night it served as a final set-up before opening in September.
