After much anticipation, finally, the day is here and we arrive at the gym our new favorite pair Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey on the screens. The trailer for Chhapaak is out, and to begin with, it’s the ugly truth that breaks us.
The creators gave yesterday the big news of the presentation of the trailer on the occasion of the World Day of Human Rights. Using a metaphorical video showing a black and white water spill, the manufacturers announced the launch of the trailer and were a good indication of what we could expect.
The trailer shows Deepika Padukone as Malti, the survivor of the acid attack that has been under the radar of the company since she experienced the unfortunate incident. Since being asked to stay in touch with different types before the incident, to the consequences he has faced after publication, many things happen in advance. But most importantly, the highlight is the fact that this story is not about pain, but especially that it deserves to be celebrated.
Chhapaak is based on a true story, inspired by the life of the survivor of an acid attack, Laxmi Agarwal. Deepika plays Laxmi while Vikrant Massey repeats her boyfriend. The premiere of the film is scheduled for January 10, 2020.
In March, the star of Padmaavat revealed the first look of Chhapaak in which he was seen with prosthetic scars and burns in the face.
Vikrant Massey, soon to be seen in the “Chhapaak” directed by Meghna Gulzar, has nothing but praise for Deepika Padukone, her co-star in the film.
“It was great to work with her. I always said he was one of the best actors I’ve worked on in my career, “Vikrant said, while interacting with the media in Mumbai.
Chhapaak is co-produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios.
